2019 will mark the 9th Big Green Cardigan Festival, some of you have been every single year and others are still finding out about us. So what are we all about?

We just wanted to do a festival that we would like to go to. So what did we want to see?

  • Great Artists – No particular theme, it doesn't matter if we  haven’t heard of them, let’s discover someone new.

  • Real Beer at sensible prices

  • Home cooked food at sensible prices

  • Plenty of clean toilets

  • No long queues

  • Just over 18's

The Big Green Cardigan runs two live music stages and unlike many events, Big Green Cardigan-goers can get to see all the acts, as the stages perform alternately.

Come along; enjoy the event and the music, and respect the musicians, your fellow guest and the environment. Chill, have fun, meet some new pals and relish in the beautiful place, which enjoys fabulous views across the East Sussex countryside.

At The Big Green Cardigan tonight a blistering power blues trio commenced our evening’s entertainment. True to the festival organiser’s previous form this lot was chased away by a young alternative rock duo, closely followed by Belgian swing, aboriginal/Sussex fusion trance didgeridoo tracks with the very fine Eddie And The Hot Rods headlining. Sadly we had to leave before the Victorian music hall act (seriously). ”

We are not family friendly, if that’s what you are looking for there are plenty of alternatives out there.

Due to being a working farm we can not accommodate dogs

We  are vegi and vegan friendly.

We are over 18's only and aim for a hassle-free, relaxed end of summer vibe.

And when we say intimate we mean it, hundreds not thousands.
